IMPORTANT DELIVERY, SALES AND LEGAL INFORMATION- I am a Cottage Food Industry Business and can only sale products or deliver within a 60 mile radius of my location at this time. (Any function or word shipping on Shipley Sweet’s website means (DELIVER NOT SHIPPING.) My location is in FALLON ,NV.  By continuing to order and use this website you are acknowledging you live within this radius (location) and that you have read Shipley Sweets Terms and Conditions.

ORDER TIMELINE

Look for this symbol ( * ) for orders that are ready to go within 2-3 days.

Our company handcrafts all standard stock items within 2-3 days, 1-2 weeks for custom items,  or the agreed upon contract time.  More time may be needed for highly decorated custom orders and/or wedding orders or orders of high quantities.

Oftentimes, orders process faster than that but we can’t guarantee a faster processing time.

The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.

WHEN ORDERING

All orders are to be paid in full when order is placed either in person or online at https://shipleysweets.com

Special Order, highly decorated Cakes, Wedding Cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and/or cookies require a 75% deposit. Balance to be paid 2 days before event/delivery date.

By ordering you acknowledge you have read and accept our Terms of Service and Policies. 

REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY

We take pride in our desserts and cakes.  If you are unhappy with your order and/or purchase, immediately notify us (within 30 minutes of receiving your order) of your concern and return your unused/remaining dessert to us.  We will give you credit for the amount returned for use toward a future purchase.  All refunds will be provided as an in-store credit.  You must have receipt of purchase with you.

  If you try to scam Shipley Sweets, you WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND.  Any claims, law suits must be filed in the County of Churchill, Nevada and City of Fallon NV.

ORDER/CANCELLATION POLICY

Shipley Sweets understands that plans change and we will gladly assist you in making changes to your order date and time whenever possible.  We accept weekday cancellations by email at (harts@shipleysweets.com) prior to 2:00 pm, 3 business days before your event on smaller quantity standard order products and a 2 week cancellation on Customized product orders and Large Quantity orders (over 50 cupcakes, etc.). All changes must be handled directly with me, Denise Shipley, and confirmed.  Shipley Sweets reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if insufficient time is given, as stated above, due to costs incurred in the purchase, priority and preparation of the order.  Charges for cancellation after the above time will be as follows:  25% of the entire order will be charged for cancellations 24 hours prior to the event and 100% of the entire order will be charged for cancelling the order after that time.  It is entirely up to Shipley Sweets discretion, to change or otherwise offer any other options  to the customer.  Special order (Highly Decorated Cakes, etc.) that are not picked up will Not be refunded.  Orders that require delivery and cannot be delivered due to customers’ wrong information or availability will be taken back to Shipley Sweets and stored until further notice from customer.  Should you require a future delivery date, you will be held responsible for an additional delivery charge.  Because of the nature of our business and our quality and freshness assurance, we will dispose of any cake, cupcake, baked item that is not picked up or delivered within 48 hours after the due time and you will NOT be refunded due to the above rules. 

WEDDING & GROOMS CAKE CANCELLATION POLICY

Wedding deposits are non-refundable.  (Deposit is deducted from the wedding cake balance only.)  Any Wedding or Groom’s cake orders cancelled 2 weeks prior to your wedding date will receive only a 75% refund on any payments made after the deposit.  Any Wedding or Groom’s cake orders cancelled less than 1 week prior to your wedding date will receive no refunds on any payments after the deposit.

CHANGE ORDER

There will be a $15.00 Change Order fee for any changes that are required within 24 hours of the time your order is required.

Please note, some changes may not be possible due to time restraints and availability of products.

HIGHLY DECORATED CAKE, CUPCAKE, CAKE POPS OR COOKIE AND LARGE QUANTITY ORDERS.

Highly decorated cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and/or cookies, include wedding cakes, groom cakes, sculpted cakes and cut-out cakes.  the latest time available to order a Highly Decorated cake, cupcakes, cake pops, and/or cookies, is the Monday 3 weeks prior to the weekend required by noon.  The above Order Cancellation Policy will apply for those situations.  During peak holiday seasons Shipley Sweets reserves the right to adjust the cut-off date if orders have exceeded our production capabilities.

LARGE QUANTITIES

Include cupcakes, cake pops and/or cookies of over 50 items and 2 or more cakes per order.

DELIVERY

Shipley Sweets takes pride in our customer service which includes not only the quality of our products, but also the reliability of delivery.  In order to ensure our quality of service, we require that any cancellations or adjustments to your order be made at least 24 hours prior to your delivery.

Please Note:

– We can not deliver to P.O. Boxes

– The recipient may be called to schedule a delivery

– A recipient signature will be required for all deliveries to confirm delivery.

– We will not be able to wait past the agreed upon delivery time.  If you miss the delivery time, delivery time and date will have to be rescheduled.  An additional delivery fee will we charged for the second delivery attempt.  We have many deliveries to make and we can not make everyone else wait.  So please be on time.

– If we run into problems with delivery, we will call you to make further arrangements.  

– If the delivery address is too remote, on a very bumpy poorly maintained road, or the delivery person believes it is best, you may be asked to meet at another agreed upon public location. Consider where is best to deliver your order when arrangements are made..

* When there are special circumstances for set up on delivery, there will be a special delivery and set-up fee calculated. 

* Deliveries over 30 miles from our place of business will be charged an additional [.58 per mile]. FALLON, NV
